looking forward

hmmm... im gonna be a 10 month soldier soon! its still a long way to go though, oh well, almost halfway there! must say that deployment life is tough, when you have things to do, you'll be busy like hell, and when they want you to guard a certain position, you stand there and literally do nothing. oh ya, gotta hate the sleeping timings, always changing, my ulcers are coming back kinda frequently le.

but certainly there'll be things to look forward to, like the upcoming 1 week leave (: still not sure where we're going though, (either bangkok or m'sia) but i'm fine with anything. if you have any recommendations on where to go in bangkok or any part of m'sia please share with me, cos im not much of a traveller. just dun ask me to go to any beaches to watch the sand and the sea (: you know why (:

nowadays got a couple of movies i feel like watching, like... the house bunny, eagle eye, etc. just can't find people to watch with... cause my off days are all during the weekdays. curses. anyways im watching 'Lost' season 4 on the internet cause i missed the channel 5 telecast many many months back. haha, must say it's great.

well, looking forward to any gatherings as well, rmb to invite me :P

treasure the moment

this week wasn't that bad... i had regular sleeping hours (lols, about to end soon) and HOT food (: relations with bunkmates are getting better, but i hope its sincere... not because they want me to agree to their future requests. did close combat training for this week, kinda fun, when u play as the victim, cause the victim has to keep on falling deliberately... hahaha. it kinda looked like power rangers (yes, power rangers) fighting evil minions (ya, the minions had more action than the power rangers themselves).

lols nowadays most of us are talking about the tainted milk products from china. you know last week i was actually looking for the dutchlady strawberry milk bottle from a store and i can't find it (felt weird, all the other flavours were there except strawberry). when i went back home to look at the papers i was damn shocked (yes, shocked!) to find out it contained 'ingredients' to make plastics. PHEW.

a lot of thoughts went thru my mind, i thought about school days, the memories i shared with my working partners, classmates and her...

disastrous

applying for an off wasnt that easy, kinda waited for... 2 months? wasnt only the waiting period that pissed me off. that day jurist kept pestering me to cover his guard duty nxt week, saying that he has things to celebrate for the entire 2 weekends... (like, wtf?) plus, my superior kept on warning that i'll not have my off until certain things are done. suddenly i just showed my du lan face to him and shrugged (ive never been so rude before... my apologies). then i found out that he was only joking... but my mood was spoilt.

so, i took an off day on friday hoping to enjoy one long weekend, but it was kinda short-lived. guess what? yea, people phoned me to ask me to cover for their guard duty again (3rd time already) ... but this time, i don't really have much of a choice cos firstly, its my bed buddy, and secondly, the others will be doing their duties in this 2 weeks. well, have to cancel plans that night (watching disaster movie with zishen, btw). disastrous weekend.

anyways to zishen: thanks for chatting with me these 2 days, really helped me to recover to my usual self. have a great 1 1/4 years ahead in s1. (:
